Helping Your Church to Grow Through Prayer

In the book of Acts, the early church is portrayed as one where members shared close friendships, served one another in love and spent time seeking to share God’s love with those who did not know Him. With a close relationship with God, the members of the early church were able to share God and were dependent upon His power through prayer to make things happen.
Today’s church, however, is very different. It is one where relationships tend to be polite and where at times we are too busy to serve and too weary to share. We endeavour to preach the Gospel primarily through programmes and long for His power to make a difference.
